In some areas it is considered a manly duty to pick out the durian fruit. I thought it was true in Sri Lanka but chandin69 says not so. I’m wrong again. I’ve seen videos about durian in Indonesia where there is a manly head of the family tradition regarding being good at picking the right durian for the family.

One of the worst room notes I have experienced so far when it comes to pipe tobacco is Sam Gawiths XX Black Kendal Twist. Boy that stuff is? EXTREME! Just tried it last night for the first time…man that stuff is STRONG and nasty…lol!
never had a durian, but i’ve been told they smell like dirty vagina, so i probably never will! lol. As far as room displeasing notes go, I’m not? sure if there is pipe tobacco that smells like this, but some cigars seem to have a horse – poop smell to me.
Most disgusting smell ever, A hot, humid? summer day in Boston, wandering the streets and ended up next to the garbage from an oyster bar. Foul stench of decomposing oyster bits on the half shell. Talk about a room note. Put that in your pipe and smoke it. Stinkin’ Oyster Pipe Tobacco.
The ultimate room displeaser is my noxious gas after I’ve drank a gallon of Guiness!!! Have you ever had the pleasure of smoking a Parodi cigar? That will? foul the air very nicely!
As far as tobacco goes most non pipe smokers or non english smokers cant stand the smell of english blends from the bulkans. If I were to make up a after smell for a pipe tobacco though I would probably say stale cheap cigar and stale beer. I love cigars and beer but I cant stand the smell after they go stale. How? is your search for new baccy going?
durian fruit flavoured pipe? tobacco,… & how might one go about preparing it?… squeeze a little durian fruit juice on some un scented or flavoured regular pipe tobacco,… would make for an interesting experiment if you were to pour a drop or 2 of the contents of that can there on a small? batch of pipe tobacco you may have lying around, let it dry & make a review/vid of the flavour/smell ,… -Jab

i just cant stay in the same room as old fish without vomiting, or gagging.
So if there any tobacco? out there with the smell of fish, I would not try for the world!
Well so far of the ones Ive tried I have to go with G&H Blackxxx as the worst smelling so far…very few tobaccos I wont keep and age for 6 months to a year if I dont like them and try them again after the aging but the blackxxx is one I vow never to try again…allthough I plan on ordering some tamboluka soon and Ill let you? know what it smells like when I get it…

I’m also a kinda new subscriber, I’ve been watching your videos for about 3 weeks now, and I’m smoking pipes for about 3 months now.
Anyways,
Till this day every pipe, no matter whether it’s a small bowl or big or meerschaum, I can’t smoke the first quarter cool. It always becomes so hot I have to put it away until it’s cool again.? But then I don’t have any problems until the end.
Do you have any advice for me?

Gotta agree with some that have said Black XX by SG. That? stuff is smoked by satan. Smells awful.

I can’t smell the tobacco I smoke. When someone is smoking? say a peaches and cream tobacco does the room note smell like that?

My guess would be the latter, but that’s just me personal opinion. Not that I’ve ever had durian or plan on it.
